Edgar Tung, CEO of Tessellation Group, Speaks at 2024 Integral Conversation, Highlighting Technology’s Pivotal Role in Achieving UNSDGs

Edgar Tung, CEO of Tessellation Group and a council member of Integral Institute, gave an inspiring welcome speech at the 2024 Integral Conversation under the theme of “Propelling Sustainable Well-being.” This year’s event convened thought leaders and experts from government, business, education, and culture to examine the different facets of sustainable well-being. Panel discussions and workshops centered around four key themes: supply chains, the integration of nature and culture, social and economic innovation, and education.

In his address, Edgar highlighted the pivotal role of cutting-edge technologies, such as automation, artificial intelligence, blockchains, and emerging greentech, in addressing global challenges. He pointed out that these innovations are driving the shift toward sustainable practices and enhancing quality of life. Furthermore, they enable us to rethink the approaches to achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

Focusing on the importance of collaboration, he mentioned that “By bringing together individuals, organizations, and communities across sectors, we can ignite new ideas and uncover practical solutions to enhance well-being, stimulate economic growth, and safeguard our planet for future generations.”
